Why We're Here
As part of the District's Division of Academic Services, the Department of Grants and Program Development is dedicated to supporting teachers and schools as they implement the District Strategic Plan for 2006-10 and other initiatives pertaining to student achievement. Moreover, the Department is actively involved in implementing District Priorities of quality and stewardship.

What We Do
The Department works in two distinct but related areas of school support: grants acquisition and implementation and program development. Since each of these areas requires up-to-date educational research and a rich variety of on-line and traditional resource materials, the Department of Grants and Program Development is able to maintain this site for use by all educators.

Department Mission
The mission of the Department of Grants and Program Development is obtain grant funding, support high-quality grant program implementation and management within appropriate legal and policy frameworks, and to provide developmental and research services related to new and ongoing initiatives.

Department Vision
The vision of the Department of Grants and Program Development is that of a professional learning community informed by scholarship, supported by ample funding and community support, committed to innovation, and dedicated to meeting the needs of students.
